The project is a newly built 5-star business hotel located in the central business district of Hong Kong, with 320 guest rooms, 5 conference rooms, a large lobby and multiple restaurants. The hotel owner has very high requirements for carpet quality, design and delivery time:
- High quality requirements: The carpet must have excellent wear resistance, anti-slip performance and sound insulation effect, meet the 5-star hotel standard, and pass all Hong Kong local safety and environmental protection tests.

2. Starfish Carpet’s Comprehensive Solution
After receiving the project, we immediately set up a dedicated project team, including designers, engineers, quality inspectors and project managers, to formulate a detailed implementation plan:
- Customized design solution: Our senior design team worked closely with the hotel’s interior designer to create exclusive carpet designs for different areas. For the guest rooms, we chose soft and warm Wilton carpets with elegant patterns to create a comfortable resting environment; for the corridors and lobbies, we chose high-density dyed nylon carpets with durable and stain-resistant properties, and added the hotel’s brand LOGO elements to enhance the brand image.
- Strict quality control: We formulated a special quality control standard for this project, which is stricter than the international standard. Each batch of carpets must go through 7 rounds of testing before leaving the factory, including appearance inspection, size inspection, density detection, wear resistance test, anti-slip test, color fastness test and environmental protection index detection. We also sent a dedicated quality inspector to stay in the factory to supervise the entire production process.
- Efficient production & delivery: We opened 3 dedicated production lines for this project, and optimized the production process to improve efficiency. At the same time, we arranged special logistics channels to ensure that all carpets were delivered to the project site on time. The entire production and delivery process was completed in just 42 days, 3 days ahead of schedule.
- On-site installation guidance: We sent professional technical engineers to the project site to provide on-site installation guidance, helping the construction team solve various problems encountered during the installation process, ensuring that the carpet installation effect meets the design requirements.
